Get enchanted in Sedona within Red Rocks’ natural landscape

Have you ever dreamed of losing yourself through Sedona’s red rocks, stargazing the night sky before sleeping in a Casita and its cozy fireplace ? Dreams turn into reality at Enchantment Resort Sedona. Nestled amidst the towering red rock walls of Boynton Canyon, Enchantment Resort embodies the natural beauty and special energy of Sedona and the American Southwest. With 218 casita-style guest rooms and suites over 70 acres, the resort is a part of the Enchantment Group portfolio of award-winning destination resorts.
The resort offers a wide range of experiences: mountain biking, hiking through the 50 trails to choose from, exploring the Grand Canyon with a guide, rock climbing, golfing on a 8-hole, Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf course, hot air balloons rides, tennis and a Camp Coyote kids club to explore the surrounding nature.
Located at the base of Boynton Canyon reside 218 casitas. Designed in a Southwestern motif, each casita draws inspiration from Sedona’s iconic landscapes. All rooms feature a private deck or patio overlooking the grandeur of the canyon. Cozy fireplaces, elegant furnishings and authentic Southwestern appointments add the perfect ambiance to your stay.
From 1 to 10 guests, you have the choice to rest in smaller or larger houses. The Hacienda Two Bedroom Suite includes a dining room for six, a private viewing deck, an outdoor grill, a living room, two private rooms, a flat-screen TV, a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, two private master suites that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
The on-site Spa is as mesmerizing as the rest of the facilities. Mii amo is a world-class destination spa located steps from Enchantment Resort. Voted as a #1 Domestic Destination Spa by Travel + Leisure magazine and a recipient of the coveted designation as Hall of Fame honoree, Mii amo is acclaimed for its unique ability to nurture personal wellbeing, offering timeless and inspired methods to guide guests to embrace the power that lives within. Enchantment guests may use the Fitness and Movement studios, as well as dine at the Hummingbird restaurant.
Be sure to attend the twice-daily Mii amo Crystal Grotto rituals: literally translated, “mii amo” is a Native American term in the Yuman dialect signifying a journey, or to continue one’s path.
Every morning, there is a meditation at 8:15 a.m at The Crystal Grotto, the heart and soul of Mii amo, which is always open to those who need it though. The crystal, surrounded by red clay, radiates with light. This womb-like, circular space connects earth and sky via an earthen floor and domed ceiling, with a circular aperture directed at the sun on the summer solstice. The circle is a symbol of wholeness. A crystal mandala, illuminated by the sun and moon, lies within the space and is made up of four large crystals placed in the four “corners of the world’ (East-red jasper, West-black rainbow obsidian, North – white selenite, South – yellow citrine). In the center of the space is a quartz crystal cluster atop a round of Arizona petrified Ponderosa pine with light and water flowing through it.
SECRET- You’ll find even more than that at Mii amo. In addition to the Spa, there are 16 extra rooms designed to offer more privacy than the Enchantment main resort.
Each of the 14 rooms and two spa suites are housed in six, two-level buildings with courtyards and an outdoor fireplace. There are indoor gas beehive fireplaces as well in each room, as well as private patios, deep soaking tubs and high-speed Wi-fi. This is essential: you won’t get service here because of its location, which, if you’re trying to completely disconnect, can only be a good thing. Those who are true ballers - Gwyneth Paltrow herself is a fan of the resort - might opt to stay in the Luxury Suite, which offers an outdoor whirlpool, fireplace and shower, as well as an indoor treatment room for those who want to indulge in even more privacy.
Fun fact - You’ll find yourself meander through the 24,000 square foot spa—designed by Gluckman Mayner Architects, the same firm responsible for the Dia Center for the Arts in New York City and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe—which is the hub of the action for most Mii amo guests. CHECK IN.

Che Ah Chi, the Apache name for a legendary red rock canyon near Sedona, Arizona, is a 30-minute film featuring interviews with tribal elders and geological experts that generously share their oral history and wisdom of the mysterious canyon with Native American filmmaker and director RJ Joseph. Filmed in part at the Enchantment Sedona Resort, the unique atmosphere of the place is transcribed into a film where the magic is enhanced by the depicted history of the area.
