Luxury wellness meets nature. SHA starts global expansion plans in Mexico.

Opening in January 2024, the famous SHA Wellness Clinic opens its new location in Playa Mujeres, Quintana Roo in Mexico. SHA will set its global expansion plans in motion with the opening of SHA Mexico and another opening in Emirates in 2025. The brand’s expansion hopes “to reflect the consumer demand to place health and well-being at the forefront of all areas of life – business and personal.” Located just North of the Riviera Maya (in front of Isla Mujeres), and only 30 minutes from Cancun airport, SHA Mexico will be close to all destinations from around the world.
SHA Mexico will have 35 residences and 100 ocean front rooms & suites, each with private balconies that feature panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and each fitted with luxurious bathrooms ( ex. rain showers). Designed by Mexican architectural firm, Sordo Madaleno and interior architect Alejandro Escudero, SHA Mexico’s designs are exquisite works of natural beauty. A large part of the design is the lush landscaping, carried out by Maat Handasa, who designed the exteriors to respect the natural surroundings for a seamless organic, sustainable, and contemporary feel.
Thoughtfully selected natural materials combined with renewable energies combination will minimize environmental impact. SHA Mexico will also sit on seven hectares of lush regional flora and fauna, next to a white sandy beach, crystal clear waters, a natural cenote, a freshwater pool, and grant guests access to the largest coral reef in the northern hemisphere.

In the last fifteen years, “SHA has transformed the lives of over 70,000 people around the world,” and now with plans to expand globally, is focused on making it more accessible to those in North America, with the opening of SHA Mexico. In the last few years, SHA Wellness Clinic has been awarded over 100 of international awards and most recently been awarded "World's Best Wellness Clinic 2023".
At SHA Mexico, guests will choose between four personalized health programs in the signature SHA style (mimicking the SHA Madrid location’s offerings). The programs are led by renowned professionals and experts in four areas of health and well-being:

By combining the latest advances in scientific medicine with the most effective and proven natural therapies, and the focus on healthy and balanced nutrition, the SHA Method’s approach significantly enhances the positive impact of each discipline holistically rather than individually.

The site’s Athletics Club overlooks the crystal Caribbean water, and offers robust fitness programs guided by an expert team of professionals. With so many facilities such as outdoor and indoor training areas, movement studios, high-tech fitness equipment (ex. virtual reality jogging track), guided walking meditation routes, tennis & paddle courts, and more, SHA Mexico has the crème de la crème of fitness offerings.
For the family, amenities like a game room, movie theatre, art exhibitions, and library are available. Guests will also have access to a chef's studio that hosts exclusive Healthy Living workshops. Following the famous SHA Nutrition program, which is based on healthy, mainly alkaline, balanced dieting, the signature restaurant SHAmadi will have menus curated to the needs of each guest and their health goals. In Mexico, another dining option, Earthy, will offer SHA' innovative live-fire cooking and sea to table concept to non-guests, opening in March 2024
