A taste of Paris’ finest luxury

Welcome to the heart of historical Paris. Le Meurice faces Tuileries Garden and the Louvre museum, and is just around the corner from luxury experiences at Place Vendôme and the Saint-Honoré area.
Le Meurice opened in 1835 and was named after its original owner Charles-Augustin Meurice. His vision was to create a hotel that would be particularly appealing to British people staying in Paris. The Meurice family had a hotel in Calais, just across from the English Channel, before becoming hoteliers in Paris. Le Meurice was one of the first hotels to work with esteemed designer Philippe Starck. His new interior design elements were inspired by the creativity and playfulness of artist Salvador Dalí who famously made Le Meurice his second home.
At Le Meurice every room and suite celebrates the height of French elegance with a distinctive contemporary twist. This includes newly-restored rooms and suites overlooking the city landmarks, marking a new chapter in the hotel's illustrious history. Each of the seven floors has a distinct style, with 121 beautiful rooms inspired by a modern-day Versailles. The true spirit of a French 'home sweet home'. There are 39 suites and Junior Suites, each a statement of spectacular Parisian style, including two Presidential Apartments with high ceilings and sumptuous furnishings.
Re-dos in 2016 and 2019 included the refresh of several accommodations by design firm Lally & Berger, which infused the spaces with a bright flair. New suites were also introduced, including the Pompadour Suite—with regal touches like hidden doors, a fireplace, oak parquet floors, and bespoke rugs and furniture—and the four-bedroom duplex Belle Epoque, with its endless rooftop terrace and Jacuzzi with views of Montmartre.

When catering meets the best chefs on the planet
Since 2013, multiple Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse took on his role of overseeing all dining at Le Meurice. Pastries - or les pâtisseries in French - are born from renowned chef Cédric Grolet, who has been all over socials recently thanks to his amazing sculpted creations and classic yet perfect pains au chocolat.
