Your journey starts by arriving through the most unbreathable breathtaking landscape of Alnesai desert. The one-hour transfer route from the new Red Sea International Airport will take you southeast along the coastal highway before turning east inland through serene desert mountains and narrow wadis and on to the resort.
Every corner of the property reflects an artistic expression inspired by their Bedouin heritage. Their dining experiences combine the region’s rich culinary culture with freshly grown ingredients. Wellness offerings incorporate local healing traditions enhanced by innovation and the latest technology. From cultural exploration in the nearby village to adventure activities in the desert, their handpicked experiences will immerse you deep into the beauty of the region.

By setting new standards in sustainability, the resort is helping to write the next chapter in the region’s story, to show to the world that development can serve to preserve and enhance one of the most alluring secrets of the mystic Saudi Arabia.
As the first LEED Platinum resort in Saudi Arabia, their electricity is completely run by solar energy, so you can enjoy an eco-friendly vacation without worrying about your impact on the environment.
Surrounding the Oasis is a collection of 36 guest rooms and suites featuring an open-plan bedroom and living area, an outdoor terrace, and expansive views of the desert dunes and the Wadi. With an additional 40 pool villas, ranging from one to four bedrooms, occupy strategic locations to offer prime aspects over the desert peaks and a unique landscape. Inspired by the sandy dunes, the interiors reflect desert tones and soft furnishings drawing from the rich colors and patterns of traditional Bedouin dress.
An Oasis in the desert, Six Senses Spa
The 3,974 square-meter Spa brings the outdoors in, reflecting the sweeping dunes and soothing sandy tones. Set over two floors, the upper floor has an ultramodern gym, spin studio and fitness suite for yoga and aerial yoga, all with golden views. The lower floor is home to the treatment rooms and wet area, which features self-shaded water surfaces and deep cold pools creating a contrast to the hot climate. Highlights include a Holistic Anti-Aging Center, male and female beauty treatments, sensory suite with meditation dome, outdoor treatment cabanas with a relaxation area, and a Juice Bar, which doubles as their iconic Alchemy Bar. Local Arabic influences are brought into the wellness journey with notes of frankincense reminiscent of the region’s incense heritage.
Lastly, don’t leave without trying our favorite activity: Local Fishing Tour. Explore the local fishing towns of Al Wajh, Umluj, and Yanbu, which more than 2,500 years ago were popular stopping points for Silk Route merchants traveling between Europe and the Red Sea. General Manager of Southern Dunes
Six Senses Red Sea Southern Dunes has named its general manager as Fredrik Blomqvist, a Four Seasons man of 16-plus years and now in charge of introducing the newly opened resort to the world. Blomqvist had previously been with Four Seasons since 2006, which took him around the world in the likes of Dublin, Chiang Mai, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Bengaluru.“This is the first Six Senses in Saudi Arabia, and we have another three projects in progress,” says Blomqvist.
“With four luxury resorts in total, this is a grand entrance into a new market. The best way to describe the resort is it’s like a hand in a glove, it feels as though it was meant to be here. Arriving at the property is like discovering a hidden treasure, each corner you turn reveals something new and spectacular.During the construction, once we began to add some greenery, trees and plants, the birds returned filling the property with life and peaceful sounds.”
